Woodland Maternity Photoshoot, Picture Me with 6

26 Weeks Pregnant with Twins

I knew I wanted to something woodsy to match the twins nursery.  I came up with a fun idea that I would make animal masks and all of us would be a different woodland animal.  My kids LOVED the idea and we had so much fun picking out animals.  With the help of my talented niece we made these fun masks.  The amazing photographer Angie from Sweet Memory Garden found us a perfect location.    I am so happy with how it all turned out.  Love my growing family!

Woodland Baby Shower for Twins

Well planning this shower was so much fun and a bit stressful.  I was not sure what the future would bring with me and carrying these twins so I did not want to wait to long…plus I am a bit of a control planner and wanted to know what I needed to get.  Shopping days were wearing thin and I needed to be prepared..ha I guess I can thank that OCD.
After our last baby 4 years ago we decided we were done so slowly I have been getting rid of everything.  We were down to what Grayson just grew out of when we found out we were having another one.  SO I reluctantly starting holding onto clothing.  I searched thru the garage, storage rooms and totes for what little baby items we had left…..not much.  Oh well I guess I will have a baby shower..hehe.  So my little brain started storming, to keep with the nursery theme I went in the direction of a tribal woodland theme.

My awesome Mother in Law offered to do the food and wow did she do amazing!  It was so yummy and so pretty.  She got the cakes from Nothing Bunt Cakes…holy cow they were delish!! We had chocolate, lemon and raspberry cheesecake.  SOooo good.

This cute little guy was created by my very talented Sister…Carismin.

I made these adorable little felt woodland animals…pattern purchased here

The shower was at my friends house, Mandi and it worked so perfectly!  She also made the cute Totten Twins sign.

Another sister of mine made these cute and yummy acorns!

I was so happy that my oldest daughter got to come and be a part of this special day.
I pulled the flower arrangement center pieces together with things that I already had.  Found someone to cut all the wood slices for me, pulled things from the nursery and a few things here and there. I made the arrow banners.  Thanks so my Sister who helped me put it all together!!

Unfortunately it was a horrible day and weekend for most people..due to the 4th of July so I did not have a great turn out.  That's okay because it was still special for me and I still felt very loved.  Thank you to all who helped!!
